Mr Manu Sood

To start with, Mr. Sood should have 10 stars. He is a remarkable person. My journey started when I supported a friend when she had a consultation with a surgeon from London. Halfway through this he turned to me and said I needed work done on my neck. I hadn't been aware that anything was a problem (loose skin) until he mentioned it. The days and weeks that followed I became more and more conscious of it and started to wear high neck jumpers etc. My husband could see that it was increasingly upsetting me. I started looking for a consultant and found Mr Manu Sood. An Angel from heaven. I made an appointment with him and had to wait a few weeks. When I met him he was very understanding and really listened to what I had to say. He stood me in front of a mirror and showed me what he could do. I then sat down with him and he very patiently answered all my questions then told me to go home and think about it and make another appointment to see him. On my return visit we went through everything again. On the day of surgery I was very nervous but also excited. He came to see me and talked it through with me again explaining everything about the procedure and the aftercare and away I went to the theatre room. All the staff were amazing so kind and caring. A few weeks have now passed and I have been am amazed at how quickly it has healed. He also took a little fat from the top of my leg and transferred it to my cheeks at his suggestion as I had lost a bit of weight two years ago and it made my cheeks look sunken (don't know how else to describe it) I'm so glad he suggested doing that as together with my neck lift it has taken years of my looks. Since the surgery I have had two follow up appointments and he is very happy with the outcome but I am more than happy. I really can not find the words to describe Mr. Sood but just to say I couldn't be any happier with everything from our first meeting onwards. One amazing man. Mr. Sood I cant thank you enough. x

I've had a procedure previously with Mr Sood, and couldn't be happier with the result. I'm about to proceed with a second procedure, for something completely different, also with Mr Sood. Mr Sood has a very calm and capable manner, and I have no hesitation in fully recommending him to anyone looking for a trust-worthy, skilled and experienced surgeon.

I can’t thank Mr Sood enough for what he has done for me! Breast augmentation was something I always wanted but was so nervous about getting. I did so much research and found Mr Soods work. Right from the start he was so helpful, he listened to exactly what I wanted and told me what was best for me. We tried lots of different options and then he gave me so much information to go away and look at which reassured me so much. The operation went so well. I felt so looked after and cared for in hospital. After surgery I had very little pain. Once I was home I felt completely comfortable and also had been given everything I needed to ensure I would be okay. When I had my stitches trimmed the nurses where so lovely and then when I went back for my 3 week check up, everything was great. I’m so so happy with how they look. They have changed my life completely. I had hardly any pain after and the scars are so neat and nearly gone now. I can’t thank Mr Sood enough, as well as Spire Hartswood and his secretary’s who were so helpful throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend!

My son was diagnosed with ingrowing nails on four of his fingers by Dr Sood in late 2019. Throughout our consultation, Dr Sood was supportive, informed and helpful in every way; his staff were also incredibly caring and kind. As a result of long waiting lists, my son underwent an operation at Nuffield Clinic as a private patient in 2020; unfortunately, as previously advised, the first operation was unsuccessful, and the infections returned. Not able to privately fund a further operation, we reached out to Dr Sood and our GP to see if a second procedure could be completed on the NHS. These were highly challenging times, hospital waiting lists grew, and the NHS was under enormous strain. However, Dr Sood's office was supportive and helpful, as was Dr Sood and, although under unimaginable pressure, made every effort to accommodate my son. My son was finally admitted for surgery in October 2021 at Broomfield hospital as an NHS patient. I am delighted to say that the operation appears to have been a success. Dr Sood and his team worked miracles; I would like to thank Dr Sood for his efficiency, expertise and empathy throughout this challenging time.

Mr Sood carried out an arm lift operation on both my arms at once. He explained in depth what the procedure would entail and was very professional and caring in his approach. On the morning of the operation he again explained exactly what was going to happen in order that there were no surprises. I was fully aware of what the outcome would be. After the operation he was very attentive and I saw him on four occasions to be checked to ensure all was healing and going well. It is now nine weeks after my operation and my arms have healed very well and I am over the moon with the results. I will see him again in three months time to ensure all is going well. Mr Sood is a fantastic Plastic Surgeon and a very professional and caring man. I would thoroughly recommend him.
